Northern Kentucky Health Department

School-Based Swine Flu Vaccination Clinics

Updated January 5: Staff from the Health Department administered the swine flu vaccination to roughly 14,000 students and staff in local schools from November 30 to December 16

All school districts in Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton counties were invited to participate in the vaccination effort. The Health Department provided packets, including information and consent forms, to the schools to distribute to parents. Only students who had signed consent forms were given the vaccine.

The school clinics were open only to staff and students in the district where the clinic was held. Parents, siblings and others were not vaccinated at these clinics.

Below is the schedule of the school vaccination clinics along with the estimated number of students and staff vaccinated at each location.
