Requests for Proposals

The Health Department requests proposals and/or bids as required for a variety of professional services and material goods. Selection is made based on the lowest and best proposal and/or bid.

By law in accordance with KRS 424.110-424.150, the Health Department is required to advertise requests for proposals and bids for services and/or goods that are greater than $20,000. Those requests will be posted on this Web site and advertised in the legal ad section of local newspapers.

In accordance with 902 KAR 8:170, the Health Department also requests proposals for independent contracts and for personal services contracts for services of a professional or technical nature. Proposal requests for independent contract services will be posted on this Web site. Requests for proposals for personal services contracts for non-merit system positions will be posted on the job opportunities page and advertised in the classified section of local newspapers.
