How To Apply
The Health Department only accepts resumes and/or applications for positions
listed on the
Job Opportunities tab of this site. Be sure to read and follow
the instructions in the to apply section of each position and to include the
code on your resume/application. Each position has its own unique
qualifications, code and instructions for applying.
You can apply for open positions
at the Health Department
by submitting a resume or a completed employment application form.
It normally takes approximately 30-40 minutes
to complete an employment application. If you choose to use this method of
application, you can
download
and complete a blank form from this Web site or pick one up at any of the Health
Department's locations. Please note that the
downloadable form is an interactive PDF file.
Adobe Acrobat is required to view the file, and it can be filled out on the
computer and saved with your information and then
e-mailed to
nkidhd.hr@nkyhealth.org.
Following are ways you can submit your
resume/completed application form:
- Fax your resume/completed
application form, or have someone else fax it, to 859.578.3689. Be sure to address your facsimile cover to Human Resources and include the code for the position on your resume or facsimile cover.
- Drop off your resume/completed
application form, or have someone else drop it off, at any of the Health
Department’s locations. Be sure to include the code for the position on any resume, application, or correspondence. Resumes and applications without a code cannot be considered.
- E-mail your resume/completed
application, or have someone else e-mail it, to
nkidhd.hr@nkyhealth.org. E-mailed resumes must be in Word for Windows format or flat ASCII pasted into a message. Do not send zipped files and files in other formats.

Stop by any of the Health
Department’s locations and complete an application on the premises. Applications are available at the receptionist’s desk.

Be sure to include
the code for the position(s) for which you are applying on the top of the first
page of your resume/application. Resumes/ completed application forms that do
