Eagle Creek Clean-up Project

The Eagle Creek Straight Pipe Abatement and Education Project is a community effort to decrease water pollution in Eagle Creek in Grant County through education about water quality and through repair and replacement of straight pipes.  

This project is being funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Northern Kentucky Health Department and its grant partners. More details on the grant are available here. 

Learn more about local watersheds and how you can help

This project has three main components:

·         Education about watershed issues in Grant County and Northern Kentucky

·         An incentive program to assist homeowners to repair or replace straight pipes and failing septic systems

·         Monitoring by testing the water quality in the area of the grant to detect changes and hopefully improvement in water quality
