Diabetes Class

The Health Department’s diabetes program is holding a free class for people to learn more about diabetes.

The class will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Burlington Fire House, 6050 Firehouse Lane, Burlington, Ky.

Registration for the class is required. A lunch will be provided free of charge. Those who do not register in advance will not receive a lunch.

Topics for the class will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, complications and more. The class will be led by a registered nurse/certified diabetes educator and a registered dietitian from the Health Department.
