Breastfeeding Bags

The Northern Kentucky Breastfeeding Coalition, of which the Health Department is a member, is distributing bags to pregnant women through the Pre Admission Education Program with St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Women should receive the bag when they come in for education with a nurse, at approximately  20 to 30 weeks of gestation.

The information in the bag is designed to assist the women in making their feeding choice, and is listed below.

To evaluate the effectiveness of the project, women who receive the bags are asked to complete a short online survey. Each woman who takes the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card to Babies 'r' Us.
