Schedule
New certification
Second Monday of each month                8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Second Thursday of each month              3:15  – 9:15 p.m.

Recertification
Second Monday of each month            3  – 5 p.m.

Fees
New certification               $75

Recertification                  $60

Substituted certification     $30
Note: Class attendance not required. Approved training received within a year of application will be accepted. A copy of the substitute training certificate must accompany the application and fee.

Note: Only those whose certifications have not yet expired or have expired within the last 6 months are able to re-certify. If expiration is beyond that date the applicant must take the initial certification class.

Important information
If you are forced to cancel, you must notify the Health Department 24 hours prior to the class in order to re-schedule or send a substitute. If the Health Department isn’t notified, you will have to re-register and re-pay the fee. Please don’t send a substitute unless you have called us with their information and who they are replacing.

Please don’t attend a class unless you have received a confirmation and study guide from the Health Department regarding date and class you are to attend.

** No lunch hour will be provided.  Breaks will be permitted and vending machines are available.**
