The Mission of the Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department is to provide leadership in community health assessment, prevention of disease, treatment and/or referral, policy development, and assurance of quality services. Carrying out our Mission will protect and promote the health of the community and enhance individual quality of life. Board and Staff of the Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department are guided by four core values. These values are used to measure the rightness and wrongness of all we do.
