Disaster Preparedness
The Health Department’s disaster preparedness efforts involve
planning, training, and exercising those elements that would lead to a strong,
effective response to any public health emergency that may affect the citizens
of Northern Kentucky.
The Health Department also sponsors the
Northern Kentucky Medical Reserve Corps – a group of volunteers who donate
their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies or disasters
that may impact our community.
