Disaster Preparedness

The Health Department’s disaster preparedness efforts involve planning, training, and exercising those elements that would lead to a strong, effective response to any public health emergency that may affect the citizens of Northern Kentucky.

The Health Department also sponsors the Northern Kentucky Medical Reserve Corps – a group of volunteers who donate their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies or disasters that may impact our community.

Family Preparedness
Each citizen also needs to do her or his part to prepare for emergencies. The following links provide helpful information about preparing yourself, your family and your home for potential disasters – natural or man-made.
